A Faculty Development Program on research and publication was held at Padmashree College on November 8, 2022, and it was led by visiting scholar Ts. Dr. Rajermani Thinakaran. She is a researcher and also senior lecturer at Faculty of Data Science and Information Technology, INTI International University Malaysia.
The development program's aim was to work out how to publish research works in reputable indexed journals. In a similar vein, the program was also carried out to assess the participants' knowledge of and use of teaching-learning and student evaluation methodologies in Padmashree's cutting-edge undergraduate curriculum.
In order to implement the innovations planned and/or implemented in any educational program, faculty development programs (FDP) are crucial. They help to promote the fundamental educational ideas and ideologies. As a result, Padmashree College carries out frequent FDP to establish innovative curriculum and assessment practices.
